There’s a kind of post workout tired where you aren’t necessarily sore so much as completely out of juice and need to sit and reflect for a while. Since I’m there I figured why not recap what just happened.
My mind is racing full of things that are happening with WCN and I almost flaked completely on this workout before I reminded myself that sometimes it is about consistency: Show up for yourself first, work out the details later. It was more important to me that I go to the gym to know that I could set a time to workout and stick to it as well as a goal for the week and be successful in both.
I kept to the same warmup as yesterday though this time I kept it to one sprint at the five minute mark to get my heart rate up and walked the rest at a 3% incline. All while furiously researching Fintech breakthroughs in the years since I’ve been out of the loop on things. Fun stuff.
From there I knew I wanted to finish exhausting the muscles I worked with big heavy lifts yesterday so I grabbed the dumbbells for flat bench, incline, and shoulder presses. I PRed on reps on the flat bench press in the first set and paid for it in later sets. I still like this strategy for back to back workouts so I’m keeping it.

That’s it for pushing the upper body at least because tomorrow we’re going to plan a full two hour Pull Day. Who’s excited? Just me, huh? Fine, fine.
